HELLO FOLKS...
Last week the court in B.C. ruled that the Indian woman have a right for their children to be status indian ..which indian men enjoyed since treaties were signed with the Crown!!!!! I personally applaude this ruling...the repercussions on this is momentous!!!!and it is... as it should be!!!!!...as usual you have the same reponse from the elected government of the day!!!!we will appeal it to the supreme court they can`t do the right thing!!!!and settle the matter...this decision will upset everything that has been contemplated so far like the kelowna accord and other deals with Indians.Metis .Inuit.......how some metis will deal with this.... will be interesting in itself!!!!!they now have a Clear road to indian status....for those who wish to be indian i wish you all the best on your last journey to indian Status..........now us metis can get on with our nation!!!!!!folks the road to metis nationhood is now wide open for us ...what will we do??????
