The metis national council ..this ----NPC-----which will holds elections under a court order that operates under Canada's jurisdiction should tell you exactley what this NPC...is all about!!!!!!!

Folks the use of monies earmarked for you ..... the members of the mmf/inc..is being utilized by those individuals for themselves...they should be told that they will be asked to recover all costs surrounding this legal matter!!!!! which only benefits those individuals....!!!!!! For the myself as a metis person with A deep interest in these proceeding,s the laws of canada/manitoba if the are correct...make no difference to me as a metis person...... this matter could lie for a thousand years it would not matter A WRONG COMMITTED BY ONE PARTY AGAINST A PEOPLE IS NEVER ERASED....

HELLO AGAIN FOLKS

This is a temporary situation..I see it has giving the metis people a breathing space...where we can collect our thoughts and decide what we should do..!!!!
It would be unfortunate if this space was left blank.......it would be a missed opportunity to express who we really are!!!!and most important what we think!!!!!time is flying by and it waits for no-one....

A METIS PEOPLES ENQUIRY INTO THE MMF/INC

Good Morning Folks....



The blogs are reporting (Anonymous METIS persons)asking pertinent question,s about the mmf/inc...I believe that there are a number of metis who would be prepared to appear before a METIS PEOPLES ENQUIRY to ANSWER QUESTION,S ABOUT A NOT-FOR PROFIT-CORPORATION---VS ---METIS NATION GOVERNMENT.AND THEIR OPERATIONS THEREIN......I would consider appearing before this enquiry to answer question,s from ordinary Metis Citizens who want to understand what is really taken place ...and why the operation conducts itself in this manner...BUT FOLKS...I say this now.. there may be forces within the metis movement .......that would go to Canada,s Court to prevent this from taking place..I am open to discussion... along with other Metis who might be interested in setting up this Metis Peoples Enquiry..... the outcome from this could well Establish the way Our metis nation operates in the future...I am Certain the GOvernments of Canada/manitoba would be interested in ATTENDING THIS ENQUIRY and to recieve the final report on The MMF/INC

Its Cold to-day in metis land....one DAY long ago Metis people stood outside to listen to Donald Smith ..HBC..REP explain the good things canada would do for the metis.....WE are still waiting for them... and ourselves to make a move!!!!!!
Donny Smith... did ok Two streets in Winnipeg named after him....plus many many benefits for his good job of selling Canada to the metis ..Louis Riel was there he bought it to....We have hindsite to compare that history.... no metis institutions no nation!!!!!!!....well folks the rest is up to us will it be NPCs...or will it be a INDEPENDENT Metis Nation???????

Yes Folks...I am wondering about this and that....I was told a long time ago that the metis people did not have the stomach for a Fight with Canada....I did not like that statement at the time!!!!!....But Folks to-day I have to admit that there is a lot of truth to that statement made a long time ago.....What else can I Think..!!!!!the fact;s are stareing us in the face ....the metis people lack the backbone at this time...Yes i know that many metis people Have not expressed their views yet ...but how long can we wait for them..!!!!!!! I would like to know where they stand on these Questions..!!!!!?????

The voices of the metis ....need to increase the volume.... when it come to expression of the many problems that beset the metis people..!!!!!mostly created by ourselves....

One way to do that is with a metis only RADIO STATION...here in WINNIPEG.!!!!!

I agree that those PEOPLE, or STATE,who signed a treaty with another Sovereign State ..... They can withdraw from a treay!!!!!!for a determined reason ...... when a people of a state decide !!!!!!

The perpetuation of misrepresentation By the mmf/inc..mnc..and the govt of manitoba/canada....keeps these n.p.c. alive....and sadly keeps the metis people down in the metis territories...it should not ....but it is a fact!!!!!!

The claim that they speak for the metis Nation in selected metis territories....in our case....Manitoba....

The Illegitimate use of the word "metis nation" by the n-p-corporations suggesting that they are the sole representatives.... and speakers.... of the metis nation...And therefore the right to bring action against the Canada/Manitoba....without the legal consent......

The assertion that the metis have indian title..!!!!!

In a proper Forum organized by INDEPENDANT METIS PEOPLE I would be prepared to answer Questions on these an other issues that I express from time to time.....The University of Winnipeg Could Sponser This....... So Far they do-not reflect Other views>>>!!!!! in their approche to UNTESTED METIS THINKING...!!!!!
I Challenge Metis People in This Province... to Back Up Your Words in a Public Forum where your views can be listened to... and Questions can be asked of you!!!!!!

The metis Nation could/would be an operation outside Canada,s Jurisdiction..... it would operate Independently as a Sovereign Nation... the options are clear!!!!!

Small Signs are encouraging....the blogs are receiving comments about the non-profit corporations fixation with so called Hunting Rights....Folks this issue has never been discuss among the ordinary metis folks...Hence you have now certain thinking metis people Questioning this Hunting Rights Fixation!!!!!

This Hunting Rights matter is an issue...but its not the only one!!!!!!all metis rights must be debated..only then.... will you have an understanding of the concept of Metis Nationhood..as an Independent Sovereign Nation...

Day --2--2008 well what do you know!!!!! we are still around.... that in itself is remarkable....I Think..!!!!!....I have been around the Metis People ISSUES... for the last Fifty Years ,,,,,and cannot recall a time when the people indicated to me that they had INDIAN TITLE....In Any Form....so i Ask again WHICH metis people out there are prepared to Announce .... that they Have Indian Title...In any Form..!!!!!!

The mmf/inc insist that you do!!!!! the judge in his recent ruling.. Declares that the metis people have no such Indian Title.....

In this case I agree with the Judge..!!!!!!!!
Folks this is a fundamental point...!!!! So where do you stand on this point..??????
