Thousands of Metis not represented in the discussion taking place on the matter of this metis land claim......by the mmf/inc along with 17 individuals.... the court ruled that the mmf/inc does not meet the criteria necessary for standing!!!!!so that leaves the SEVENTEEN individual,s who represent themselves...now my question is are those seventeen individuals paying for the Court proceedings ..!!??
Folks the use of monies earmarked for you ..... the members of the mmf/inc..is being utilized by those individuals for themselves...they should be told that they will be asked to recover all costs surrounding this legal matter!!!!! which only benefits those individuals....!!!!!! Question to the mmf/inc members are you aware of this?????do you agree with this action..?????

Folks he called the people who are the problem... and he expects that they will reveal to him... and others in this motly group how to fix this minor issue.....they will nod... and fall asleep...and talk loud ...... then they will each go their own way satisfied with their genius.......of covering their ass.......oh what a hard day they had at the office...meanwhile the suffering goes on and on and on!!!!!!!

More on the ruling by Judge MacInnes on the matter of the time frame ...where to much time as expired in bringing this before the courts...the corporations and seventeen individuals...in my view acted for themselves..no one else!!!!!
For the myself as a metis person with A deep interest in these proceeding,s the laws of canada/manitoba if the are correct...make no difference to me as a metis person...... this matter could lie for a thousand years it would not matter A WRONG COMMITTED BY ONE PARTY AGAINST A PEOPLE IS NEVER ERASED....
I WOULD FIND A WAY TO MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!!!!!

HELLO AGAIN FOLKS

This is a temporary situation..I see it has giving the metis people a breathing space...where we can collect our thoughts and decide what we should do..!!!!
It would be unfortunate if this space was left blank.......it would be a missed opportunity to express who we really are!!!!and most important what we think!!!!!time is flying by and it waits for no-one....

One of the first actions we should take is to address this question of the Federal and Provincial Governments signing contract,s with the mnc/inc..mmf/inc and other npcs who serve the metis people...I can tell you now that until we have a proper Metis Nation set up.... my position would be that the respective governments deliver all services TO THE METIS AS THEY DID IN THE PAST until such time as the metis nation is in place to assume its legitimate role!!!!!!...let this serve as notice... the Governments are playing with fire and one day will be on their doorstep!!!AND I DON,T THINK YOU ARE BLIND TO WHAT IS TAKEN PLACE WITHIN THE METIS NATION.....

SECOND.....ON DECLARATIONS SOUGHT.....
THE JUDGE RULED I AM NOT PREPARED TO GRANT ANY DECLARATIONS SOUGHT BY THE PLAINTIFFS AND ACCORDINGLY DISMISS THEIR CLAIM IN ITS ENTIRETY....

THIRD ....IN PART OF THE RULING...THERE WAS NO TREATY BETWEEN CANADA AND THE METIS....

ON THIS I AGREE WITH THE JUDGE ...THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE METIS PEOPLE WHEN THEY HAVE PROPER METIS NATION SET UP..... THAT A TREATY WITH CANADA AND OTHER NATIONS WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE!!!!!

FOURTHLY....THAT THE METIS PEOPLE WERE NOT INDIANS AND NEITHER DID THEY CONSIDER THENSELVES AS INDIANS..

I AGREE WITH THE JUDGE ON THIS POINT!!!!!!!

The blogs are reporting (Anonymous METIS persons)asking pertinent question,s about the mmf/inc...I believe that there are a number of metis who would be prepared to appear before a METIS PEOPLES ENQUIRY to ANSWER QUESTION,S ABOUT A NOT-FOR PROFIT-CORPORATION---VS ---METIS NATION GOVERNMENT.AND THEIR OPERATIONS THEREIN......I would consider appearing before this enquiry to answer question,s from ordinary Metis Citizens who want to understand what is really taken place ...and why the operation conducts itself in this manner...BUT FOLKS...I say this now.. there may be forces within the metis movement .......that would go to Canada,s Court to prevent this from taking place..I am open to discussion... along with other Metis who might be interested in setting up this Metis Peoples Enquiry..... the outcome from this could well Establish the way Our metis nation operates in the future...I am Certain the GOvernments of Canada/manitoba would be interested in ATTENDING THIS ENQUIRY and to recieve the final report on The MMF/INC

Its Cold to-day in metis land....one DAY long ago Metis people stood outside to listen to Donald Smith ..HBC..REP explain the good things canada would do for the metis.....WE are still waiting for them... and ourselves to make a move!!!!!!
Donny Smith... did ok Two streets in Winnipeg named after him....plus many many benefits for his good job of selling Canada to the metis ..Louis Riel was there he bought it to....We have hindsite to compare that history.... no metis institutions no nation!!!!!!!....well folks the rest is up to us will it be NPCs...or will it be a INDEPENDENT Metis Nation???????

Yes Folks...I am wondering about this and that....I was told a long time ago that the metis people did not have the stomach for a Fight with Canada....I did not like that statement at the time!!!!!....But Folks to-day I have to admit that there is a lot of truth to that statement made a long time ago.....What else can I Think..!!!!!the fact;s are stareing us in the face ....the metis people lack the backbone at this time...Yes i know that many metis people Have not expressed their views yet ...but how long can we wait for them..!!!!!!! I would like to know where they stand on these Questions..!!!!!?????

The voices of the metis ....need to increase the volume.... when it come to expression of the many problems that beset the metis people..!!!!!mostly created by ourselves....

One way to do that is with a metis only RADIO STATION...here in WINNIPEG.!!!!!
Is anyone out there interested in making an application.... or buy one already existing..???even a pirate one would be a Start ..we need to get the word out there to the masses...if INTERESTED CONTACT THIS POST....
