METIS VETERANS LEADERLESS!!!!!!!

Metis Veterans in Manitoba are leaderless ...it is now becoming clear to them that these non-profit operators cannot do anything for them!!!!!!!!....they served in the armed forces with distinction...but never recieved any recognition for their service.. they have been Used ,Abused,Then abandoned by everyone..All they have now is themselves!!!!!....Which is i think a good thing!!!!!!! The struggles for nationhood around the world.......... continues by people determined to create a state for themselves...within existing states....they approche this question differently....for students who study the making of a state!!!!!!...there are many Interesting examples .............Here in Canada...so far only the Province(geographic)..of Quebec...and some of its people have been sabre rattling...and only small pockets have shouted their nationalism!!!!!!!!..they are not really serious!!!!!!!!!..yet they continue to upset canada,and canadians ......heh heh heh....

On june 19 th i recieved from (fippa) by phone.....which is... the freedom of information and protection of pricvacy act(fippa)....I recieved the actual number of metis children....479 metis children in care by Metis Child family & Community Services @ 1261 Main Street......more info will be provided when i recieved it m\By Mail.....
Now the number in itself doe not indicate where they are from...boys or girls...ages etc.....just the number 479........which was what i asked for!!!!the interlake region on their web site gives an outline... on their approche to this problem.... which i found interesting.....so what do you think of these numbers????????? my interest here at this time is this ...why and what is the root cause!!!!!....????????... i will have more to say on this later...

The assembly of first nations.... said that their were up to 27,000 indian children in care!!!!!and that they needed more money to deal with the problems....
Prentice said he knows their is a huge problem,and is trying to figure out what to do!!!he also said the number of children in Apprehension has increased by 65% in the last ten years... ... he admits that he is trying to deal with it!!!he does not pretend that he has the answers.....the Indian Boss says he needs more money to fix the problem!!!!!!!!now let us look at what they the Indian Tribes Recieve and you tell me if money is the problem!!!!!!!!
They are covered by TREATIES that commits CANADA to deliver Services that can be described as looking after a people from the WOMB TO THE TOMB!!!!!!

THE B.C.COURT RULING!!!!!!!
HELLO FOLKS...
Last week the court in B.C. ruled that the Indian woman have a right for their children to be status indian ..which indian men enjoyed since treaties were signed with the Crown!!!!! I personally applaude this ruling...the repercussions on this is momentous!!!!and it is... as it should be!!!!!...as usual you have the same reponse from the elected government of the day!!!!we will appeal it to the supreme court they can`t do the right thing!!!!and settle the matter...this decision will upset everything that has been contemplated so far like the kelowna accord and other deals with Indians.Metis .Inuit.......how some metis will deal with this.... will be interesting in itself!!!!!they now have a Clear road to indian status....for those who wish to be indian i wish you all the best on your last journey to indian Status..........now us metis can get on with our nation!!!!!!folks the road to metis nationhood is now wide open for us ...what will we do??????

HERE IS ACTION I HAVE UNDERTAKEN THIS MORNING!!!!
Good Morning Folks....
This morning while taking my usual walk..the school bus was picking up children i noticed two little native girls crouched on the ground with skippy clothing.\looking down in the ground with with dispair in there eyes ...waiting for the bus!!! other children were there also with parents or guardians well dressed ..happy faces....
this is a matter that has been bothering me..so i phone the seven oaks school div and asked them to check on these two little girls....i phone the mmf inc children office they advised me to contact --ANCHOR--- WHICH I DID AND REPORTED MY CONCERNS...to them i dont know where this will go!!!!but my gut feeling told me this is something i had to do!!!!!if it gets me in trouble well so be it!!!!!!!

A BETTER METIS SOCIETY..!!!!!

It would be nice if we had a better metis society...but i don`t hold any hope for one... unless ,and until, there is a dramatic change of thinking on exactly what constitutes a better metis nation.....you hear the talk of metis nationhood ...BUT folks this is not very well understood among metis people ...i ask the question!!!!!are you in favour of a metis nation!!!!???????? of course is the immediate answer...but when you probe deeper you get a blank stare!!!!!!!!

They call it devolution when they transfer your rights to a group within their jurisdiction........the transfer of the care of metis children under the care of the mmf/inc...is unconstitutional within the laws of canada/manitoba....on one hand canada/manitoba say that the non-profit groups are representatives of metis people ...then go the the courts and say they are only representatives of their members and do not speak for the whole metis peoples!!!!!!yet they tranfer their authority to this group!!!!!!!...no consultations took place among the whole metis people...no referendum.......the govt of manitoba in this case is clearly abdicating its constitutional duties.....!!!!!!!!!

the non-profit corporations continually prop up their groups to something they are not!!!!!!like indicating that they are self-governing bodies......heh, heh, heh, heh.... I challenge some of these locals to come forward and demonstrate how they administer that function!!!!!!...
Folks.... i would be a very happy person if that were true(self-governing bodies)!!!!!!!!...but that is not the case!!! now you don`t have to take my word for this !!!check this out yourself!!!!!!---lets take the winnipeg region...how many locals meet the conditions for a self- governing body???????---one???/two?????------

OVER THE LAST WHILE I HAVE OBSERVED THE MACHIAVELLIAN-MACHINATION`S OF THE MMF/INC...ON THE MATTER OF WHAT THE SIGN`S HAS BROUGHT UP..... THE UNINTENTED PUBLICITY AND EXPOSURE .....WHERE LOCAL MANITOBA SELF -GOVERNMENT HAS LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THEY DON`T WELCOME THIS INTRUSION OF THE MMF/INC SIGN`S WITHIN THEIR SPHERE !!!!!!!
FOLKS I VIEW ALL THIS WITH CERTAIN AMOUNT OF ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!! BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND THE ISSUE...!!!!!!!

Good Morning Folks.....
The n.c.i. radio station provides a bit of entertainment!!!with its airing of two programs called Metis Hour times two on saturdays and ...Dumonts metis club on sundays at 3.p.m.
Metis hour times two provides for the mmf/inc..... the opportunity to air.... what ever it is they want to air!!!!! in a controlled environment.......and Dumonts Radio show provides metis music and promotes events throughout the province....there are many metis who consider these two weekly events great and look forward to them!!!!!
However there is a serious lack of metis points of view on the Metis perspective...where we would hear debates on issues of metis national importance....NCI will not provide this for the metis unless and until they are forced to do so!!!!! other radio stations in Winnipeg are not providing the metis perspective from all quarters either......we need an independent metis Radio Station that would air what should be aired publicly.......a informed metis people is required in order that they make good decisions for themselves !!!!!!

LETS TAKE A LOOK AT REALITY..!!!!!!...
good morning folks.....
O.K.Lets take a look at reality...recently the top dog of the non-profit corp...declared this..."Our locals are the foundation upon which we build our nation!!" well now folks in reality thats the way it works!!!!!!!!!...
But that is not the case ......In some quarters maybe !!Just maybe!!!!there might be one or two locals who demonstrate the ability to function as an Independent self governing entity!!!!!!The fact of the matter is this!!!They are carried by the non-profit corp...they are not capable of running in the manner the company speaks of!!!!!!And further a majority of the board are carried by the corporation...this has been the case for the last 37 years....they are constantly propped up.... to maintain a semblance of something...!!!!I challenge this non-profit company to and Independent examination of the Corporation!!!!!!!!!!!!!your members (who ever they are)deserve better than this .... I cannot understand how canada/manitoba continues to fund this non-profit corporation and others...clearly they are not a treat to the establishment!!!!!!!and they wont do to much...and the ultimate assumption is that they declare themselves to be head of the metis nation here in manitoba!!!!...Folks its enough to make a metis CRY!!!!!!
