HOW MANY METIS ARE THERE????????

Good morning Folks....
The mnc claims to speak for Approx 350,000 to 400,000 metis people to-day!!!!!!!
they claim that!!!!!! i challenge their statment!!!!!!
but folks there is another matter on the actual metis population i wish to bring up!!!!!!
from my conservative estimate.... I have this figure that by 2015 the metis will number 764,000 to 1,ooo,ooo..... they are mostly on the prairies,but they are also all over the world...!!!!!!!and they are not represented by these non-profit corporations....nor do they wish to belong them!!!!!...so this unfolding historical matter has yet to determine where exactly they will fit into the metis picture of the future!!!!!!folks this will be interesting!!!!!

What rights ????Do metis people have?????It seem`s that every one is getting on declaring what the metis rights are......which is ok...most of them are wrong!!!!!....for the metis here in the red river!!!!!!to the best of my knowledge the rights of metis people have never been discussed among the metis people!!!!and until they are...... one can only speculate what these rights are!!!!!But let me make this clear!!!!Those that say we have the same rights as Indian people are dead wrong!!!!!!!when we as a people iron this matter out then the world will know...until that happens no one has the Authority to ASSUME they speak for the metis nation!!!!!This metis Nation is still wandering around looking for the answer`s to this Question !!!!!!!!Waiting for the courts to answer these question`s is not the way for the metis nation to go!!!we the metis people must decide that ourselves!!!!!
