Nothing much will happen until the court makes a ruling...what ever the decision on the mmf--vs--the govt of canada....it will create a wave that will wake up all these sleeping dogs!!!!!!..both pro and con!!!! for my part the ruling better indicate that the individual metis will be the one`s to act on further negotiation to settle matters !!!!!of individual interest!!!!!!....so we will wait which should not be to long!!!!!!!...some time ago the mmf/mnc while Yvon Dumont was president...... there was discussion`s about a metis claim settlement with the then P.M. Brian Mulroney.... details of that would have to come from Mr Dumont himself!!!!! I thought at the time that this was the way to go!!!!!! to settle the matter politically....between the metis nation and allowing individual metis to handle their affairs in what ever manner they wish...after all folks the is was a transaction between the govt of canada and individual metis as the record clearly shows.....Metis folks be ready to handle your affairs soon!!!!!!
